This venue opened in March 2005. Mexican owners, chefs & staff. They aim is to provide traditional Mexican cuisine in a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere. They provide the authentic touch in promoting Mexican culture and the owners are focused on their drive to truly show the vast variety, tastes and colours which ‘authentic’ Mexican cuisine and culture has to offer.

Mestizo Mexican Restaurant is located a few minutes north of London’s West End, Tottenham Court Rd., Warren St. tube Station and Euston station (main line & tube); they are open 7 days a week, continuously from noon until late, providing an extensive A la Carte menu of fine Mexican cuisine.

Every Sunday they have their traditional Mexican Sunday Brunch… a wonderful selection of fresh tacos made to order; eggs any style; traditional pozole, birria & menudo plus many other main course dishes to choose from, plus a selection of home made desserts, and unlimited Agua Frescas. The time for families and friends to gather and relax. Booking is strongly advised for noon – 2pm or 2pm – 4pm.

Their tequila bar, named by ‘Travel & Leisure’ as the ‘Sexiest Tequila Bar in Europe’, has an extensive range of over 250 + tequila & mezcal.

Their separate ‘DOWNSTAIRS’, provides a different atmosphere and can be used for cocktail parties, product launches, dining and corporate or private occasions. It is available for Private events and a minimum spend policy applies for all private bookings.

The venue’s Mexican Thursday (Jueves Mexicano) is a popular weekly gathering of the younger Mexicans in London (and not so young) to enjoy fresh tacos from their taqueria, (from £1.00) with live Dj’s playing Mexican & latin music, dancing and special prices on their beverages.

Separate menus for dietary intolerances / gluten & wheat free / Nut free / dairy free / vegan / vegetarian. They also have 3 inclusive group / set menus costing £22.00 / £26.00 / £30.00.

They hold 6 festivals each year celebrating the cuisine of Mexico. Each is 1 week in length / Tamal – enchilada – chili pepper – margarita (all of August) gastronomic (10 Mexican states featuring regional specialities) – and mole (moh-lay) festivals. They celebrate the important dates in the Mexican calendar – Day of the Dead / Posada / Cinqo de Mayo / Mexican Independence Day.

The DOWNSTAIRS can also be used for small conferences and meetings. A maximum of 60 people can be accommodated. Cost is on application.
