8.Roast at Hawksmoor
It’s a roast Jim but not as we know it. If Bisto gravy and dry spuds are not exactly what you had in mind for Mother’s Day then you’d best be getting your family booked in for the ultimate meatstravaganza at one of Hawksmoor’s five London steak restaurants. With British-bred native cattle, buttered greens and lashings of creamy mash… join the roast revolution. More power to ya.
9.Pamper Day at the W Hotel
Come on now, it would not have been a Mothering Sunday article without at least one option to pamper the living daylights out of her. The ultra-modern and sleek-as-you-like W Hotel just off the madness of Leicester Square would be our Townfish pick for 2015.
