Easter in London 2015: Weekend Extravaganza

Shaun of the Sheep - Kew Gardens

Religious observation, a time for family, an extra day off or a ruddy good excuse to ram your face so full of chocolate that you’ll be seeing Milky Way Stars for weeks to come… whatever Easter means to you, it’s virtually guaranteed that London will be ready and waiting to provide you with the bank holiday of your dreams. Here are a few little gems to be getting your chops around, courtesy of Townfish.

1. Little Nan’s Secret Afternoon Tea

If you combine our rumoured favourite drink (a cuppa), with our actual favourite drink (booze) then you won’t be far from the vibe of Little Nan’s afternoon tea. Held in a secret location in Vauxhall, there’ll be scotch eggs, Queen Victoria sponge, Earl Grey and cocktails galore on this most British of afternoons.

Pack up the kids and head off to Kew Gardens for a lamb-laden trail like no other. Follow Timmy the lamb as he leads you to the treasure, learn to make sound effects using just vegetables (!) and even make your very own Shaun the Sheep chocolate baaaaaa in surroundings full of all the joys of spring.
