Bottomless Pizza, Pimm’s and Prosecco and Ealing Park Tavern

We’ve reviewed a lot of bottomless experiences at Townfish, but the version at Ealing Park Tavern must be one of the best value offerings around in London. The 3 P’s: Pizza, Pimm’s and Prosecco, which are often the most popular items ordered at gastropubs are limitless for a 1.5 hour seating for a mere £20pp. This offer is available every Saturday lunchtime.

There are drawbacks with every offer. Ealing Park Tavern isn’t very central, it is all the way out in zone 3 close to South Ealing station and it is virtually next to a cemetery. However, all great offers are worth the pilmgrimage. The tavern is a beautifully restored former old coaching inn and also includes the Long Arm Brewing Company on site which you can arrange a tour of. This is one of the most spacious gastropubs you will find in London with a sizeable bar area and an elegantly ornate dining room with traditional, giant chandeliers and an open kitchen.Ealing Park Tavern interior

The outdoor terrace has colourful booths which you can hire for private parties. They are all covered and include heating lamps, so you can imagine they will be equally popular in the winter time as well as during the summer. There is a ping pong table, a hammock and an outdoor bar. Along with the relaxed and vibrant nature of the outdoor garden space is a more informal garden menu from which guests can order from.Ealing Park Tavern exterior

For a limitless pizza offer, you might expect mini-pizzettes to be served, but instead you get the full-sized experience created from their wood-fired oven. Thankfully it is still thin-crust and filled with healthy, fresh ingredients. We tried the crab meat version which was well complemented with tomatoes, spring onions and chilli; whilst it was utterly irresistable, I was still surprised when the staff came over to ask if I was ready for the 2nd pizza. Apparently, there are guests who have eaten 4 pizzas in the 1.5 seating!Crab Pizza

Although, not part of the package, you are highly recommended to try their bulgarwheat salad, grapes, olives and mint. It is one of the more unusual sides you will have tried plus the wheat is rich in protein and minerals.Bottomless Pizza, Pimms and Prosecco at Ealing Park Tavern

The staff are extremely accomodating here and will let you switch between Pimm’s and Prosecco during your meal. The Pimm’s has a health dose of fresh fruits in the jug whilst the Prosecco is from Arcobello and has a clean, refreshing finish which surprisingly complements the pizzas very well. It there is one excuse to travel out to South Ealing, this would be the perfect reason.
