During our visit we started with a chilled bottle of South African chenin blanc, a light refreshing and zingy white which kept our moods light and cheery. A starter of calamari arrived piping hot, crispy and cooked just right to avoid a rubbery texture.
Mains of guinea fowl kiev with roasted onion and ketchup shallot was tender, flavoursome and a generous portion size. And finally a steak and oyster pudding with a deliciously soft outer case filled with rich beef enhanced by salty oysters melted into a thick warm gravy.
The Bull also offers a function room upstairs catering for birthdays, private parties or work events, proving the Geronimo Group’s formula is a winning one. Visit this branch and your sure to be greeted with a welcoming atmosphere any day or night of the week.
